Ms. Aydinian's Class

Notecard Information

Hey guys,

I just got back from grading AP World History Exam essays in Ft. Collins, Colorado.  From June 2nd through the 9th 1000 Readers graded 180,000+ students' free response essays.

Understandably, I did not have much free time to post the notecards to the site.  They will be posted Tuesday.  Until then, you can read the chapters and annotate.

You want to read the sections before you write your notecards anyway.  Students who write their notecards as they are reading the material have a habit of putting both too much information and non-essential information on their cards.

Notecard update - June 16, 2011

Sorry everyone,

Due to unforeseen events, there has been a delay in the posting of the notecards.  Please note that they will be posted before the end of the weekend, and most likely by Saturday night.  You should read and annotate in the packets first anyway.  Just like the directions for the notecards state, you are limited in words and items on the notecards.  If you are already done reading, then start identifying, prioritizing, and summarizing information for the cards.

Notecards!

We are going to go chapter by chapter.  Later chapters will be posted tomorrow.  Do not highlight your cards, we will do that the first day of class.  I have given you readings out of two different WHAP textbooks.  The chapters below are listed in the order that they appear in the packet.
